why is increased circulation important?

Lack of proper circulation is often the reason for muscle tightness. When the muscles are stretched and/or manipulated, blood flow is instantly increased to them. Without proper circulation, muscles become weak and easily fatigued, making them prone to injury.

 

What is range of motion?

Range of motions the ability for your limbs to make a complete motion around the joint. The inability to do this is often the result of muscle tightness and lack of circulation.

Why do you need strength when you have neck or shoulder pain?

Often when we experience pain or discomfort, we’ll naturally begin to overcompensate in order to avoid it. But after avoidance, comes weakness. Weaker muscles are also prone to injury. A perfect example of this would be someone who’s recently removed a cast from their arm/leg. This is why building strength is so important.
